Hey there! Welcome to the official "RoboDogs" website! Here at Vacaville High School, the Robotics Team is not only a group of students, but also a community of mentors, who represent Vacaville in the development of engineering and teamwork to complete a given task. Every year, we compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition, in which we are given six weeks to design, build, and program a robot to compete with and against other teams at a 3-day regional event. This year, we will be competing at UC Davis and St. Louis. Check out the dates for these events on the team calendar. Although the challenge changes with each robotics season, our skills continue to grow as our team gains experience and our team bonds. During the FIRST robotics season, we meet every day after school and on Saturdays. Off season, we meet once or twice a week to discuss fundraising opportunities and parent meetings are held every Thursday. Check us out in Room 44! A pair of extra hands are always welcome! |
